June slowly returned to consciousness and opened her eyes. As she looked around her, she realized that the time machine had been successful; she was back in the 1950s. Something, however, was terribly wrong. Nothing was happening. The complete absence of sensory input had a stronger and stronger effect on her as the minutes ticked by, and before long it was all she could do not to scream.
